By submitting the registration form you are agreeing to the following conditions:

1.I confirm thatI have agreed to enter into the Mavora Explorer Series (“THE EVENT”) on the basis of the following conditions of this waiver, and of my own free will. By signing this document, I bind myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns and any other person whomay claim or sue on my behalf.
2. I acknowledge that given the distance, terrain, hazards and weather conditions on the day, participation in THE EVENT is inherently dangerous and carries the potential for death, serious personal injury, and property loss.
3. I am responsible for obtaining the required skills, equipment,and completing sufficient training to participate in THE EVENT.  
4. I have no pre-existing medical conditions and have not beenadvised against participation in THE EVENT by a qualified health professional.
5. I acknowledge that there may be hazards on or around the course route which may include people, animals, vehicles, objects or materialsand I assume the risks associated with participating in THE EVENT. I further acknowledge the risk that individuals participating in, or involved or contributing to, or watching THE EVENT may act negligently which may result in harm or injury to my property or me. All these risks are known to and appreciated by me and I accept them of my own free will.
6. I consent to being provided with first aid, emergency or other medical treatment for the purposes of treating or relieving injuries or physical harm that I may suffer as a resultof participation in THE EVENT.  I acknowledge that no warranty is made as to the results of any medical treatment.
7. On behalf of myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns: 
a. I waive, release and forever dischargeall THE EVENTorganisers, officials, medical staff andvolunteers and any individuals participating in, controlling, officiating or, involved in THE EVENT, or in any way associated with the properties traversed by THE EVENT, from any and all claims, losses or liabilities, for death, personal injury, partial or permanent disability, property damage, medical or hospital bills, theft or damage or any kind, including economic and non-economic loss, which may exist or arise in the future arise out of or relate to my participation in or my travelling to and from THE EVENT, or arising out of the risks I have assumed in participating in THE EVENT, as set out above, whether or not caused by negligence of any person. 
b. On behalf of myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns I agree not to sue or claim against any such persons for any of the claims, losses or liabilities that I have waived, released or discharged in this document. 
c. I indemnify and hold harmless the Event organisers, officials, medical staff and volunteers and any individuals participating in, controlling, officiating or, involved in THE EVENT from any and all claims made by me or liabilities assessed against any of them as a result of: i. my actions or inaction; ii. the actions, inaction or negligence of others including the Event organisers, officials, medical staff and volunteers and any individuals participating in, controlling, officiating or, involved in THE EVENT; iii. the conditions of the facilities, equipment or areas where THE EVENT or other associated activities are being conducted; iv. implementation of the THE EVENT Rules; or v.any other cause arising from an occurrence related to THE EVENT; 
8. I agree to abide by the Event Rules, and I acknowledge that my entry into THE EVENT may be revoked or suspended forviolation of the Event Rules. 
9. I acknowledge that any photos and or video footage taken of me at the THE EVENT is the property of the event organisers and can be used by them for whatever purposes they wish without payment to me or any prior consent from me.

10. I acknowledgethat only the courts of New Zealand shall have jurisdiction to entertain any complaint, demand, claim or cause of action arising or in any way related to the THE EVENT.
